What makes Jarvan IV dangerous

Jarvan drops a flag (E) and dashes to it (Q) for a knock-up combo, shields himself (W), and his ultimate creates a ring of terrain that traps a target inside with him. He engages instantly onto a carry and locks the area down for his team.

How to play against Jarvan IV

• 1Flash or dash out of his ultimate cage before his team collapses.
• 2Bait his E→Q knock-up; after it he has no more engage for a while.
• 3Spread from his flag so his knock-up catches only him.
• 4His ult walls can body-block his own team — use them against him.
