What makes Lux dangerous

Lux binds you from long range with her Q (a two-target root), pokes and shields, and her point-and-click-detonated ultimate is a huge laser that bursts you down once her passive and combo line up. She's squishy and immobile, but her root-into-full-combo can delete a carry from screens away.

How to play against Lux

• 1Dodge her Q bind — it's a slow skillshot and the setup for all her damage. Stand behind minions and sidestep it; no root, no combo.
• 2She's immobile with no escape. Assassins and hard engage punish her hard once her Q is on cooldown.
• 3Her shield (W) protects her lane; don't waste all-in resources into it. Trade when her shield and Q are down.
• 4Respect her ult range — she can snipe you low from a screen away. Don't sit at low health in a straight line from her.

• ✓Her burst needs the Q root to land first.
