What makes Pyke dangerous

Pyke hooks you with his Q, stealths and heals with his W to roam and escape, and his ultimate executes any target below a health threshold — resetting to hit again and granting bonus gold to himself and an ally. He roams the map for picks and snowballs both botlane and the team.

How to play against Pyke

• 1Dodge his hook (Q) — it's his primary engage. Stand behind minions; a Pyke who misses hooks can't set up his picks.
• 2His ultimate executes only below a health threshold — stay above it in fights, and his reset-execute has nothing to grab.
• 3Track his roams — he stealths and moves to gank other lanes. Ward and ping when he leaves botlane, and he loses his pick pressure.
• 4He builds lethality and is squishy. Punish his aggressive positioning: when he steps up for a hook, all-in or trade back hard.
