What makes Jayce dangerous

Jayce swaps between cannon (ranged poke, accelerated orbs through his gate, armor shred) and hammer (leap, knockback, damage aura) — six abilities and two stat profiles. His accelerated Q poke chunks half your HP from a screen away in lane.

How to play against Jayce

• 1Dodge the gate-accelerated Q — stand off the obvious poke angles.
• 2He's a lane bully who falls off — survive early and out-scale.
• 3After the hammer knockback (E), his melee form has no escape.
• 4No ultimate: at 6 you spike, he doesn't. Force that window.

Weaknesses to exploit

• ✓No real ultimate — level 6 is your power window.
• ✓Falls off into the late game.
• ✓Squishy for a "bruiser" — burst trades work.
