What makes Jax dangerous

Jax leaps in with his Q, and his E (Counter Strike) dodges every auto-attack for a couple seconds, then stuns everyone around him. His W and passive give burst and on-hit damage, and he scales into an unkillable duelist who wins side lanes 1v1.

How to play against Jax

• 1Don't auto-attack into his E — his Counter Strike dodges autos and stuns you. Stop attacking, walk out of the AoE, and wait for it to end.
• 2Use ability damage during his E, not autos — spells still land while he's dodging attacks.
• 3Beat him early and deny his scaling — Jax is mediocre before items but monstrous with three. Pressure him off farm and take plates.
• 4Don't duel him in a side lane late — answer his split-push with numbers and cross-map pressure instead of a 1v1.
