What makes Kled dangerous

Kled fights on his mount Skaarl with bonus health; when it runs out he's dismounted (squishy) but regains it by dealing damage. He hooks you with his Q (pulling both together if you can't escape), and his ultimate is a long-range charge engage. He's a lane bully who snowballs early skirmishes.

How to play against Kled

• 1Punish him dismounted — when Skaarl runs out he's squishy and weak. Trade to knock him off, then all-in before he remounts.
• 2Dodge his Q hook — if it grabs and you can't get away, he yanks you both together for a trade. Break away or sidestep it.
• 3Respect his ult charge — it's a long-range engage that speeds his team. Don't get caught out when it's up.
• 4He's an early bully who falls off — survive his lane, scale, and he loses relevance in the late game.

  Skaarl, the Cowardly Lizard

  Kled rides his trusty steed, Skaarl, who takes damage for him. When Skaarl's health depletes, Kled dismounts.While dismounted, Kled's abilities change and he deals less damage to champions. Kled can restore Skaarl's courage by fighting enemies. At maximum courage, Kled remounts with a portion of Skaarl's health.

  Strong: his mount Skaarl gives bonus health and aggression. Weak: knock him off it — dismounted Kled is squishy and weak, so punish that state.

  Bear Trap on a Rope

  Kled throws a bear trap that damages and hooks an enemy champion. If shackled for a short duration, the target takes additional physical damage and is yanked toward Kled.When dismounted, this ability is replaced by Pocket Pistol, a ranged gun blast that knocks back Kled and restores courage.

  Strong: a hook that yanks you both together for a trade. Weak: dodge it, or break away before he pulls you in.

  Violent Tendencies

  Kled gains massive attack speed for four attacks. The fourth attack deals more damage.

  Jousting

  Kled dashes, dealing physical damage and gaining a short burst of speed. Kled can cast this ability again to dash back through his initial target, dealing the same damage.

  Chaaaaaaaarge!!!

  Kled and Skaarl charge to a location, leaving a speed-granting trail behind them and gaining a shield. Skaarl locks onto and rams the first enemy champion encountered.
