What makes Neeko dangerous
Neeko disguises as ANY unit — minion, ward, ally — ambushing from impossible angles, roots through the first target hit (E empowers through champions), pokes with blooming seeds, and her ultimate leaps with a huge AoE stun-burst after a hidden wind-up in disguise.
How to play against Neeko
- 1Odd minion in the wave? Hit it. Trust nothing that moves strangely.
- 2Her ult winds up under disguise — watch for "minions" walking at your face.
- 3Don't stand behind allies vs her E — it empowers through them.
- 4Spread out in fights: everything she does is AoE.
Weaknesses to exploit
- ✓Squishy and reliant on landing the E root.
- ✓Disguise breaks on damage — poke suspicious units.
- ✓Predictable ult range once you've seen it.
- ✓Falls off if behind — punish the lane.
Abilities & how to counter them
What each of Neeko's abilities does — and how to play around it.
P
Inherent GlamourNeeko can look like an ally champion or as other units on the map. Receiving immobilizing crowd control, casting damaging spells, damaging enemy towers as a non-champion, or your disguise taking damage equal to its healthbar breaks the disguise.
Strong: disguises as ANY unit — minions, wards, allies — for ambushes. Weak: damage breaks it — poke anything suspicious.
Q
Blooming BurstNeeko throws a seed dealing magic damage. The seed blooms again on hitting champions or killing units.
Strong: a triple-pulsing seed that blooms on kills and champions. Weak: small zones — step out between pulses.
W
ShapesplitterNeeko passively deals bonus magic damage every third attack, briefly increasing her move speed. Neeko can activate to send a clone in a direction and recast to change the direction of the clone.
Strong: a clone runs deception routes while she escapes or engages. Weak: clones don't cast — the silent twin is the fake.
E
Tangle-BarbsNeeko slings a tangle that damages and roots everything it passes through. If the tangle kills an enemy or passes through a champion, it becomes larger, faster, and roots for longer.
Strong: a root that EMPOWERS through champions hit — chain CC from range. Weak: don't stand behind allies — the empowered root travels through them.
R
Pop BlossomAfter a short preparation, Neeko leaps into the air, knocking up all nearby enemies. Upon landing, nearby enemies are damaged and stunned. The preparation is hidden if Neeko is disguised.
Strong: a leaping AoE stun-nuke charged in stealth/disguise. Weak: the wind-up is loud once revealed — scatter from any Neeko running at your face.
Itemization
Paranoia wins: tag odd units, spread out, and keep MR. Her whole kit needs the E to land first.
