An assassin support who hooks, stealths, and executes low-health targets for gold.

Pyke

Pyke hooks you with his Q, stealths and heals with his W to roam and escape, and his ultimate executes any target below a health threshold — resetting to hit again and granting bonus gold to himself and an ally. He roams the map for picks and snowballs both botlane and the team.

Pyke

• 1Dodge his hook (Q) — it's his primary engage. Stand behind minions; a Pyke who misses hooks can't set up his picks.
• 2His ultimate executes only below a health threshold — stay above it in fights, and his reset-execute has nothing to grab.
• 3Track his roams — he stealths and moves to gank other lanes. Ward and ping when he leaves botlane, and he loses his pick pressure.
• 4He builds lethality and is squishy. Punish his aggressive positioning: when he steps up for a hook, all-in or trade back hard.

• ✓Reliant on landing his hook to engage.
• ✓Squishy assassin — punish his step-ups.
• ✓Ult only executes low-health targets.
• ✓Predictable roams if you keep vision.

• P
  Gift of the Drowned Ones

When Pyke is hidden from enemies, he regenerates damage that he has recently taken from champions. Pyke also cannot gain extra Maximum Health from any source, and instead gains Bonus AD.

• Q
  Bone Skewer

Pyke either stabs an enemy in front of him or pulls an enemy towards him.

Strong: a long hook that sets up his roams and picks. Weak: dodge it behind minions — a Pyke who misses hooks can't get going.

• W
  Ghostwater Dive

Pyke enters Camouflage and gains significant Move Speed that decays over time.

Strong: stealth and heal to roam and escape. Weak: track his roams with vision and pings; caught out, he's a squishy assassin.

• E
  Phantom Undertow

Pyke dashes and leaves behind a phantom that will return to him, stunning enemy champions along its path.

• R
  Death From Below

Pyke blinks to and executes low health enemies, allowing him to cast this spell again and granting additional gold to an ally who assists.

Strong: executes any target below a health threshold and resets. Weak: stay above the threshold in fights and his reset-execute has nothing to grab.

Pyke is a lethality assassin support. Dodge his hook, keep vision to track his roams, and stay above his ult's execute threshold in fights. Health and a bit of armor make his all-ins far less reliable.
