An armored bruiser who locks onto one target and blows them up.

What makes Vi dangerous

Vi charges a Q dash to knock you back, shreds armor with her passive and W, and her ultimate (R) is a targeted, unstoppable knock-up that ignores everything in the way — a guaranteed pick on a carry. She dives the backline and cannot be peeled off mid-ult.

How to play against Vi

• 1Respect her R: it is targeted and unstoppable. Save Flash, Zhonya's or QSS for the moment she ults you.
• 2She is weak in the early jungle and reveals herself when charging Q — interrupt it with any CC.
• 3Group with your team: alone you are her ideal R target, together she gets peeled.
• 4Buy armor and health — her whole combo is physical and front-loaded.

Weaknesses to exploit

• ✓No hard disengage — once her Q and R are down she is just a bruiser.
• ✓Her ultimate hits only one target; a grouped team can peel it.
• ✓Weak, telegraphed early clears — easy to invade or counter-gank.
• ✓Kitable: without Q charged she has little gap-close.

  Strong: hitting an ability grants her a shield, softening your trade-back. Weak: the shield is small and one-time — burst through it.
