What makes Kayle dangerous

Kayle starts melee and weak, but every levels-up milestone (6/11/16) upgrades her: ranged attacks, waves of bonus damage, then permanent range and AoE. Her ultimate makes an ally (or herself) invulnerable. At three items she melts teams from range while immune to your engage.

How to play against Kayle

• 1Abuse levels 1–5 hard: she's a melee minion — freeze, poke, all-in repeatedly.
• 2Deny her farm: behind in gold, her spikes at 6/11/16 come too late.
• 3Bait her ult before the real engage — it's her only defensive tool.
• 4End before 25 minutes: every minute after 16 she out-teamfights you.

  Divine Ascent

  Kayle's attacks are empowered by the heavens as she levels up and spends skill points. Her wings are lit aflame as she progressively gains Attack Speed, Move Speed, Attack Range, and waves of fire on her attacks.

  Strong: levels 6/11/16 upgrade her to ranged, then AoE, then permanent ascension. Weak: before 6 she's a melee minion — abuse the calendar.

  Radiant Blast

  Kayle conjures a portal, summoning a celestial sword that pierces through enemies, slowing, damaging, and reducing the resistances of all hit.

  Strong: a resist-shredding slow that starts her trades. Weak: a slow projectile early — sidestep it and her trade fizzles.

  Celestial Blessing

  Blessed by the divine, Kayle heals and grants Move Speed to herself and the nearest ally.

  Strong: heals and speeds her or an ally — sustains her weak laning. Weak: heavy mana cost early; force trades to drain her dry.

  Starfire Spellblade

  Passive: Kayle's celestial sword, Virtue, deals bonus magic damage to enemies she attacks.Active: Kayle's next attack smites her target with celestial fire, dealing bonus damage proportionate to their missing health.

  Strong: ranged execute damage on her passive waves late. Weak: early it's her only ranged tool with a real cooldown — trade inside it.

  Divine Judgment

  Kayle makes an ally invulnerable and calls upon former Aspects of Justice to purify the area around her target with a holy rain of swords.

  Strong: makes a target invulnerable AND rains AoE damage — flips dives. Weak: bait it early in the fight, then re-engage; it doesn't stop towers.
