A stealthy trickster who boxes the jungle, backstabs, and splits into a clone.

What makes Shaco dangerous

Shaco stealths with his Q to backstab for bonus damage, plants fear-boxes that ambush and terrify you, and his ultimate creates a damaging clone that lets him deceive and burst. He excels at early cheese ganks and mid-game picks on isolated, unwarded targets, and he's frustratingly slippery.

How to play against Shaco

• 1Buy Control Wards and a sweeper — vision counters his stealth and reveals his boxes before they fear you.
• 2Don't walk into unwarded brush and chokepoints early — that's where his fear-boxes wait. Clear them before objectives.
• 3When he ults, the clone deals damage and he may be stealthed — AoE damage and reveal find the real Shaco. Don't blow your combo on the clone.
• 4Stay grouped and warded in the mid-game. Shaco preys on lone, low-vision targets; deny the isolation and his impact craters.

• ✓Vision (Control Wards/sweepers) counters his stealth and boxes.
• ✓Squishy — dies fast if you catch and CC him.
