What makes Ivern dangerous

Ivern frees jungle camps without fighting (full-HP clears), roots and dashes to targets (Q), grows brush anywhere (W), shields with an exploding slow (E), and his ultimate summons Daisy — a knock-up golem bodyguard. His ganks come with instant brush vision games.

How to play against Ivern

• 1Invade his camps mid-clear: interrupted groves refund nothing.
• 2Kill Daisy fast or ignore her far from the golem's knock-ups.
• 3His root needs line of sight — his own brush blocks nothing but yours does.
• 4He's useless alone: catch him without allies nearby.

  Friend of the Forest

  Ivern cannot attack or be attacked by non-epic monsters. Ivern can create magical groves on jungle camps which grow over time. When the grove is fully grown, Ivern may free the monsters to receive gold and experience.

  Strong: clears camps without fighting and gifts them to allies. Weak: half-freed groves are stealable — invade his timers.

  Rootcaller

  Ivern conjures a vine, dealing damage and rooting enemy targets hit. Ivern's allies can dash to the rooted target.

  Strong: a root that lets allies DASH to the target. Weak: a slow vine — juke it and his gank has no follow-up.

• W
  Brushmaker

  In brush, Ivern and his nearby allies attacks deal bonus magic damage. Ivern can activate this ability to create a patch of brush.

  Strong: instant brush anywhere — vision games and empowered autos. Weak: temporary patches — sweep or wait them out.

• E
  Triggerseed

  Ivern places a shield on an ally which explodes after a short duration slowing and damaging enemies. The shield refreshes if it hits no enemies.

  Strong: an exploding shield with a slow — peel plus poke. Weak: the burst is delayed — step from the shielded ally.

  Daisy!

  Ivern summons his Sentinel friend Daisy to fight with him. Re-cast command Daisy to attack or move.

  Strong: Daisy knock-ups on every third hit — a walking wall. Weak: Daisy melts under focus and expires — kill or kite the golem.
