What makes Thresh dangerous

Thresh lands a hook (Q) to pull himself to a target, drops a slowing lantern-and-box ultimate (a wall of cages) around you, and knocks you around with his E. He sets up every kill for his team with long-range CC and can save allies with his lantern. He's all about landing that hook.

How to counter Thresh

• 1Dodge his hook (Q) — it's his entire engage. Stand behind minions and juke it; a Thresh who misses hooks is nearly useless.
• 2Don't stand in his ultimate box wall — the cages slow you and block escape. Flash or dash out of the corridor immediately.
