Soraka counters (Support)

Common role: Support

The best counter to Soraka in Support is Nami: 53.1% win rate over 3,521 ranked games on patch 26.21.

A healing enchanter who keeps her team topped up and globally saves allies.

What makes Soraka dangerous

Soraka heals her allies at the cost of her own health, silences and roots with her E, and her global ultimate heals the entire team from anywhere — clutch-saving allies across the map. She turns drawn-out fights and sieges in her team's favor with relentless sustain.

How to counter Soraka

• 1Buy Grievous Wounds — anti-heal is the direct counter to her sustain. It cuts her heals and turns her value down hard.
• 2She pays health to heal — poke her down and she can't sustain the team safely. Focus and dive her; she's very squishy.
• 3Dodge her E (a delayed root/silence) — without it she has no lockdown and can't stop your engage.
• 4Force quick kills — her strength is long fights. Burst a target before her heals and ult can respond.

What are Soraka's weaknesses?

• ✓Grievous Wounds hard-counters her healing.
• ✓Extremely squishy — dies fast to dives and burst.
• ✓Pays her own HP to heal — punished by poke.
• ✓E is a dodgeable delayed skillshot.

• R
  Wish

Soraka fills her allies with hope, instantly restoring health to herself and all allied champions.

Strong: a global heal that clutch-saves allies anywhere on the map. Weak: force fast kills — burst a target before her ult can respond.

Itemization

Soraka is a healing enchanter. Grievous Wounds is the answer — anti-heal guts her value. Dive and burst her (she's very squishy), dodge her E, and force fast kills before her sustain matters.
