What makes Taliyah dangerous

Taliyah machine-guns stone volleys (single boulders on worked ground), pushes enemies off a seismic knock-up field, throws them backward over her rock wave, and her ultimate raises a MASSIVE wall across the map — cutting reinforcements, escapes and objectives in half.

How to play against Taliyah

• 1Fight her on worked ground (the rocky trail) — her Q loses most damage there.
• 2The W-E combo needs a beat of aim — dash through or juke the flip.
• 3Her wall can trap HER team too — punish greedy walls.
• 4Gank her mid pre-6: thin waveclear windows leave her exposed.

  Taliyah gains Move Speed near walls.

  Strong: rides rock walls with big move speed for roams. Weak: mounts only near walls out of combat — irrelevant mid-fight.

• Q
  Threaded Volley

  Taliyah throws a volley of rocks in a target direction, moving freely as she casts. This creates Worked Ground below her. If Taliyah casts Threaded Volley on Worked Ground, she consumes the ground to throw a stronger boulder that slows enemies.

  Strong: a five-stone volley that shreds on full connect. Weak: leaves WORKED GROUND where Q fires one weak stone — fight her on her own trail.

  Seismic Shove

  Taliyah causes an area of ground to erupt and throws enemies within it in a direction of her choosing.

  Strong: a knock-up field she aims to throw you ANY direction. Weak: a beat of aim delay — dash through during the arrow drag.

  Unraveled Earth

  Taliyah creates a slowing minefield. If enemies dash through it or are knocked through it, the mines explode and stun them.

  Strong: a rock minefield that detonates on dashes through it. Weak: punish champions without dashes barely notice it — walk, don't dash.

  Weaver's Wall

  Taliyah creates a very long wall and then surfs it.

  Strong: a MAP-SCALE wall that cuts reinforcements and escapes. Weak: cast greedily it strands her own team — punish bad walls instantly.
