What makes Kalista dangerous

Kalista hops after every auto (uncancellable kite), stacks spears in you and RENDS them all for execute damage, spots with sentinels, and her ultimate pulls her Oathsworn ally in, then launches them as an unstoppable knock-up engage.

How to play against Kalista

• 1Hard CC stops the hop-kite instantly — she has no dash, just hops.
• 2Back off before the spear stack hits execute range — count them.
• 3Punish the ult: while her support is airborne, she's down a partner.
• 4She's squishy and weak alone — catch her split from the Oathsworn.

  Throw a fast moving spear that passes through enemies it kills.

  Strong: a piercing spear that carries rend stacks through kills. Weak: a straight line fired mid-hop — juke the rhythm.

  Sentinel

  Gain bonus damage when Kalista and her Oathsworn strike the same target. Activate to send a soul to scout out the path, revealing the area in front of it.

  Strong: sentinels scout lanes and her passive punishes duo-lane hits. Weak: mostly macro value — sweep the sentinels.

  Rend

  Attacks impale their targets with spears. Activate to rip the spears out, slowing and dealing escalating damage.

  Strong: RENDS all stacked spears — slows and executes at scale. Weak: count your spears — back off before the execute math works.

• R
  Fate's Call

  Kalista teleports the Oathsworn ally to herself. They gain the ability to dash toward a position, knocking enemy champions back.

  Strong: pulls her Oathsworn in, then LAUNCHES them as an unstoppable knock-up. Weak: while the partner flies, she fights alone — punish the window.
