What makes Smolder dangerous

Smolder stacks Dragon Practice on every Q kill — at high stacks his Q burns % max HP and EXECUTES low targets, W spits a huge slowing glob, E lets him fly over terrain, and his ultimate is a screen-long flame breath with a heal-sweet-spot. Given time, he one-buttons carries.

How to play against Smolder

• 1Crash waves under his tower early — missed CS = missed stacks forever.
• 2All-in him pre-125 stacks; after, respect the execute burn.

  Hitting champions with Abilities and killing enemies with Super Scorcher Breath grants a stack of Dragon Practice. Stacks increase the damage of Smolders basic Abilities.

  Strong: stacks upgrade his Q into AoE, then execute burn. Weak: the whole champion is a countdown — deny CS and kills to freeze him.

  Smolder lets out an adorable flaming sneeze that explodes when hitting enemy champions.

  Strong: a wide slowing glob that starts every kill window. Weak: slow projectile — sidestep and the window never opens.

  Smolder takes flight ignoring terrain and bombarding the lowest health enemy.

  Strong: he FLIES over terrain while auto-attacking. Weak: his only escape — once burned, he's a grounded lizard.

  MMOOOMMMM!

  Smolder calls his mom to breath fire from above, dealing extra damage and slowing enemies in the center of her fire.

  Strong: a screen-long breath with heavy damage on the sweet spot. Weak: the sweet spot heals HIM — stand off-centre and it's just damage.
