What makes Yorick dangerous

Yorick summons ghouls from graves to swarm you, walls you in with his E ring, and his ultimate raises the Maiden of the Mist — a powerful minion that shreds towers and champions. He's a relentless split-pusher who wins side lanes 1v1 and takes objectives with his ghoul army.

How to play against Yorick

• 1Clear his ghouls or don't fight surrounded by them — they add up to huge damage. Kill the Maiden to cut his push and dueling power.
• 2Dodge his E (a slow-marking ring/mist) — it slows and lets his ghouls swarm. Sidestep it to avoid getting walled in.
• 3Answer his split-push with numbers, not a 1v1 — he wins most side-lane duels. Trade map pressure instead.
• 4He's immobile with no gap-closer — kite him and his ghouls, and focus the Maiden in teamfights.

  The Cursed Horde: Yorick can summon Mist Walkers to swarm and attack nearby enemies.

  Last Rites

  Yorick deals bonus damage on his next attack and heals himself. If the target is a champion or large monster or if the target dies, a grave will be dug.

  Dark Procession

  Yorick summons a destructible wall at target location that will block enemy movement.

  Mourning Mist

  Yorick throws a globule of Black Mist that reduces armor, damages, slows and marks enemies. Summoned units gain move speed when moving towards marked targets.

  Strong: marks and slows you, sending his ghouls to swarm. Weak: a dodgeable skillshot — sidestep it to avoid being walled in and swarmed.

  Yorick summons the Maiden of the Mist that causes Yorick's attacks against the Maiden's target to deal bonus damage. The Maiden will also automatically raise Walkers from dead enemies.
